The fifth edition of God Is Green, the festival dedicated to sustainability and the future created by Manifattura Tabacchi, is realized through a collaboration between DIDA – the Department of Architecture at the University of Florence – and NAM – Not A Museum. The exhibition Reverse Towards a New Paradigm unfolds through a narrative journey that begins with an awareness of the current state and leads to an open vision: the re-establishment of a new balance between the human and the natural
Humanity is facing a devastating pandemic and an unprecedented planetary emergency - climate change, loss of biodiversity, severe degradation of air, land and water, lack of sociality, crisis of existential values. The seriousness of the crisis requires a radical change in thinking patterns and lifestyles. It appears difficult to identify convincing and feasible alternative models.
We can only try to identify paths, which are sometimes tortuous and difficult. And all of this, in the awareness of the partiality and at the same time of the importance of each contribution. Through different conceptual rooms, the work explores alternative ways of thinking and living
