Interlock
2025

A table assembled through a single structural gesture.

Interlock explores the expressive potential of construction through a dry interlocking system.

The table is composed of a minimal set of elements that fit together mechanically, eliminating the need for glue or permanent fixings.

Two solid wooden volumes are connected by a contrasting black insert that acts as both structural lock and visual hinge. This component stabilizes the structure while defining the identity of the object. The dry assembly not only becomes a formal language but also introduces a sustainable approach to furniture design. Each component
can be individually removed, replaced, or
repaired without discarding the entire object.
Once disassembled, the materials can be easily separated and recycled.

Interlock transforms construction into both an aesthetic and environmental strategy, where structure, material honesty, and reversibility define the design.
